Sep 5 : ICYM Nirkan unit organized inter-ward Quiz competition "ಜಾಣ್ವಾಯೆಕ್ ಸವಾಲ್ - 2022" on 4th September 2022 at St. Thomas higher primary school hall , Nirkan at 3:30 pm.

The ICYM Nirkan secretary Ms. Asha Dsouza was the MC of the event. The event commenced with prayer song led by Melvita Crasta. The event was inaugurated by lighting the lamp.

Parish priest Rev. Fr. Leo Lobo, vice president of Parish council Mr Vincent Bennis, Brother Norman Mathias, school headmistress Sr. Sevrin Fernandes , president of ICYM Nirkan Mr. Vinol Crasta were present on the dais.

President Vinol Crasta welcomed the gathering. The Parish priest Rev. Fr. Leo lobo gave an inspiring message and explained the importance of competitive spirit and appreciated the youth for organizing such competitions.

After the stage program , the quiz was conducted by Brother Norman Mathias and Mr. Henvil Walder. Total 6 wards participated in the quiz and everyone equally contributed to the team’s success.

There were total 7 rounds in the quiz competition. The competition was based on the Bible and General Knowledge.

At the end of the program, the winners were announced. The program ended with vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Joyline Rodrigues. Overall, it was a joyful and a successful event.
