Sep 30 : ICYM Badyar unit along with the Youth commission organized "Yuva Sangam – 2K23" on 24th September 2023 at St. Raphael Church Badyar.

The dignitaries present for the program were Fr. Anil Ivan Fernandes Director of Canara Communication Center Mangalore, Fr. Vinod Mascarenhas director of Vimukthi Organisation Belthangady, Fr. Melvin D’souza the Parish priest, Vice President Mr. Valerian Crasta, Secretary Mrs. Premalatha Frank, All committee convener Mrs. Gretta Dcosta, Youth convener Mr. Kevin Dsouza, ICYM unit co-ordinator Mr. Rajesh Serrao, Former deanery representative Mr. Winston Sequeira, Vice President of ICYM Belthangady deanery Mr. Ajay Rodriguez , Secretary Ms. Lavita Lobo and ICYM unit president Mr. Arvin Goveas.

Mr. Arvin Goveas, the president of the ICYM Badyar unit welcomed the gathering.

The ceremony was inaugurated by lighting the lamp along with a prayer song.

After the inauguration Rev. Fr. Melvin D’souza delivered a presidential speech, after that Youth commission secretary Ms. Rishal Goveas delivered a Vote of thanks.

After the stage program the session was continued by the chief guest Rev. Fr. Vinod Mascarenhas on the topic of inter-caste marriage and its effects and awareness of the constitu-tion. After his session Rev. Fr. Anil Ivan Fernandes continued the session on social media , substance abuse and its effects, till noon. In between all the session group activities, games and action songs were conducted by former deanery representative Mr. Winston Sequeira, vice president Mr. Ajay Rodriguez and secretary Ms. Lavita Lobo.

Later after serving lunch the session was concluded.
