May 6 : ICYM Belthangady Deanery along with ICYM Ujire unit organised Blood Donation Camp in association with Red Drop Mangalore and Fr. Muller Blood Bank, Mangalore on 28th April 2024 at Sharada Mantapa, Ujire.

Blood donation camp commenced with the short inaugural program led by Melvita Vas.

Fr. Vijay Lobo - Principal, Anugraha Educational Institution Ujire; Mrs. Usha Kiran - President, Gram Panchayat Ujire; Mr. Antony Fernandes - Vice-president, Parish Pastoral Council, Ujire; Dr. Anna Niketha Babu and Dr. Mayak - Representatives of Fr. Muller blood bank, Kankanady , Mangalore; Elvin Prashanth D'cunha and Lavita Lobo - President and Secretary of ICYM Belthangady Deanery; Joywin Rodrigues and Jenifer Saldanha- President and Secretary, ICYM Ujire unit were the dignitaries present on the dais.

Joywin Rodrigues - President, ICYM Ujire unit welcomed the gathering. The program was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by the dignitaries.
Mrs. Usha Kiran and Fr. Vijay Lobo addressed the gathering on the importance of blood donation and encouraged youths to donate blood.
Jenifer Saldanha - Secretary, ICYM Ujire unit proposed vote of thanks.

There were about 50 kind hearted donors who with their great act of service made this camp a successful one.
