Sep 10 : ICYM Kumbla unit organized Teachers' Day celebration on 2nd September 2018 at 10 am in the church hall. Rev Fr Anil Prakash Dsilva was the chief guest for the programme along with Rev Fr Thomas Monteiro, Thomas Crasta Vice President Parish Pastoral Council, Bernard Monteiro District AEO and Simon Loy Dsouza Unit President ICYM Kumbla unit were the dignitaries for the programme.

Simon Loy Dsouza Unit President ICYM Kumbla Unit welcomed the gathering. Jenita spoke few words on the importance of teacher’s day. Mary Crasta spoke about her experience as a teacher. Various games were conducted for the teachers. Rev Fr Anil Prakash Dsilva distributed the prizes for the winners and addressed the gathering on the significance of teacher’s day. Rev Fr Thomas distributed the gifts for all the teachers as a token of gratitude. Jyothi proposed the vote of thanks. 25 teachers and 24 ICYM members were present for the programme. Atlast breakfast was served for the gathering.
