Nov 17 : The ICYM unit of Ashoknagar organized an inter-ward throwball match for women and a tug-of-war competition for both men and women on 17th November 2024 at St Dominic Church ground. The event commenced at 9:30 AM with an engaging inaugural ceremony.

The ceremony was hosted by Ms. Chrisma Rodrigues and graced by prominent dignitaries, including Parish Priest Fr. Daniel Veigas, Parish Council President Mr. Maxim Crasta, Secretary Mrs. Deborah Locker, Mrs. Meera Mendonca, Sr. Tressa, Sr. Alphonsa, ICYM President Mr. Loyston Dsouza, and Animators Mr. Nixon Crasta and Mrs. Ashwitha Frank. During the ceremony, Fr. Daniel Veigas and Mr. Maxim Crasta delivered insightful thoughts.

The matches were filled with energy and excitement as participants showcased their skills and team spirit. The women's throwball matches displayed remarkable coordination and determination, while the tug-of-war events for both men and women brought out immense strength and teamwork.

The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony. Cash prizes were awarded to all participants, while the winners and runners-up received trophies and cash prizes. The results were as follows:
