Dec 30 : On the occasion of Christmas, ICYM Bantwal unit organised an event on the Christmas Eve namely 'Christmas Sambram 2018' along with cultural committee of the parish. Rev. Fr Walter Dmello - Parish Priest presided the programme along with Rev. Fr Ashwin Crasta -Assistant Parish Priest, Sandeep Menezes - Vice President and Richard Dsouza – Secretary, Parish Pastoral Council, Ronald Carlo –President and Diana Dsouza – Secretary, Cultural Committee, Sunil Lewis – Animator, Avinash Dsouza – President, Annet Dsouza - Secretary, ICYM Bantwal unit along with the chief guest and santa claus were the dignitaries on the dias.

The programme began with a prayer song led by the choir members. Sandeep Menezes welcomed the gathering. The chief guest of the day was Wilma Bantwal, a well known poet and writer was felicitated on the occasion. The parish priest addressed the parishioners and asked them to celebrate this festive season as a family. Various prizes were distributed for the events conducted on the occasion of Christmas. Diana Dsouza proposed the vote of thanks. Later on cultural programmes were given by ICYM, YCS, altar servers, Marian sodality and others. Thus the Christmas Eve turned out to be a joyous and merry one.
