‘Nature itself is the greatest physician’ with this saying - Environment Day was observed at Infant Jesus Church, Modankap by the members of Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) Bantwal Unit hereby on Sunday 24th June 2018.

Rev. Fr. Maxim Noronha - Parish Priest in his address, emphasized the need for protecting environment and to start the process of preserving environment at the individual level. He highlighted the need of traditional over synthetic medicines.

Variety of medicinal plants were planted around the church premises and herbal medicines(kashaya) were distributed to all.

Rev. Fr. Ashwin Crasta - Assistant Parish Priest, Mr. Sandeep Menezes - Vice President and Mr. Richard Dsouza - Secretary, Parish Pastoral Council, Mr. Avinash Dsouza - ICYM President along with ICYM members and the parishioners witnessed this programme.
