July 25 : On the 15th and 16th of July 2023, Executive committee of Belthangady Deanery visited all the 12 units of deanery along with Deanery ICYM director Fr. Praveen Dsouza. The main intention of this visit was to learn about the challenges faced by the units and the functioning of the executive committee.

Every unit visit began with a meeting of deanery and unit executive committee proceeded with welcoming everyone which was done by the Presidents of each unit. The Deanery executive committee interacted with the youth of the units and had a healthy discussion on various topics.

Unit presidents presented the yearly agenda and their opinions regarding the programs that were previously conducted. Later, the director enquired about the challenges faced by the units so that required measures could be implemented to solve the issues and also to drive more number of youth towards ICYM. Meeting came to an end with the vote of thanks rendered by Lavita Lobo, Secretary of ICYM Belthangady Deanery.

Post the meeting, Vanamahotsava was celebrated by planting a sapling in each unit as a remembrance of the visit.

Ujire, Indabettu, Manjotti, Nala and Belthangady were the units visited on 15th July and Madanthyar, Nainad, Venur, Naravi, Arva, Badyar and Gardady were the units visited on 16th July.The support and response was great from every unit.
