May 17 : Indian Catholic Youth Movement and Young Catholic Students, Balkunje unit along with Fr Muller’s Hospital, Kankanady organised blood donation camp on 12 May 2024. This was organised in memory of Late Vinisha Dsouza, a beloved member of ICYM Balkunje Family.
The camp began with a prayer song followed by a stage program. Rev Fr Paul Sequeira (parish priest of St Paul Church Balkunje), Dr Kriti Aarti, (Blood Bank Officer Fr Muller’s Hospital, Kankanady) Mrs Nancy Cardoza (Secretary of Parish council), Mrs Lavina Serrao (Convenor of pastoral commissions), Ms Nelisha Lobo (President ICYM Balkunje) and Mr Rahil Rodrigues (President YCS Balkunje) were the dignitaries on the dais.

The camp was inaugurated by lighting the Diya and offering floral tribute to Late Vinisha Dsouza. Dr Kriti spoke about the importance and benefits of donating blood. Fr Paul Sequeira encouraged the people to donate blood. About 50 people volunteered to donate blood. Breakfast and lunch was served to all.
Mr Allan Sequeira compered the program. Ms Nelisha welcomed the gathering and Mr Rahil delivered the vote of thanks.
