ICYM and YCS Kinnigoli units celebrated “Elders' Day” on Tuesday, 7th May 2019 at Immaculate Conception Church Hall, Kinnigoli. Rev. Fr. Ronald Cutinho - Parish Priest, St. Jacob Church, Kateel celebrated the Holy Eucharistic mass and was concelebrated by Rev. Fr Rupesh Tauro - Assistant Parish Priest, Immaculate Conception Church, Kinnigoli and Rev. Fr Basil - Native priest from Kinnigoli.

Rev. Fr Rupesh Tauro, Shaila Sequeira - Vice President, Vincent Mathias – Secretary, Kinnigoli parish pastoral council, Sr Janis and Jeevan Dsouza – President, YCS Kinnigoli Unit were the dignitaries of the programme. The programme commenced with a prayer song. Preetham Rego – President, ICYM Kinnigoli Unit welcomed the guests and the gathering. The guests inaugurated the programme by receiving the ‘Vojem’. Rev. Fr Rupesh Tauro addressed the gathering on behalf of Elders' Day.

Sweedal Gomes - Vice President, ICYM Kinnigoli Unit proposed the vote of thanks. YCS and ICYM youths performed a cultural programme as well conducted interesting games for the elders. The programme concluded with a sumptuous lunch. A total of 150 elders were part of this programme. The programme witnessed a great success and all the youths were honoured to be a part with the elders of the parish.
