Sep 5 : ICYM Kinnigoli Unit celebrated "Teachers’ Day" on Sunday, 1 September 2019 at 8:30 a.m. in Kinnigoli Church Hall. The program began with a prayer song. ICYM President Mahima Fernandes welcomed the gathering.

Rev Fr. Mathew Vas parish priest Kinnigoli church , Fr. Rupesh Tauro Assistant parish priest, Fr. Lancy Saldhana - Principal St. Mary's central school and Shaila Sequeira - Vice president of Parish pastoral council were the dignitaries of the programme.

A total of 62 teachers were part of the programme. Mr. Micheal Pinto and Mrs. Cicilia D'Souza were honored for their teaching service as they retire this year and Dr. Vincent Vinod was congratulated for his Ph.D. in Economics. Fr. Mathew Vas addressed the gathering and gave a memento to all the teachers as a token of love and gratitude.

In order to make the day more beautiful, ICYM members presented a cultural program and held a few games to entertain all the teachers.The program was concluded by receiving feedback from the teachers on the programme. Dalton D'Souza, Secretary of ICYM Kinnigoli unit proposed a vote of thanks.
