Jan 3 : On the auspicious occasion of Christmas, ICYM Ammembal Unit organised “Nathalanchi Sanz 2023” on Christmas Eve at St Thomas the Apostle Church Ammembal.

The program commenced with Christmas carol singing by YCS Ammembal Unit, followed by a Christmas dance by the ICYM Ammembal Unit.

The dignitaries, including Rev. Fr. Nobert D’Souza (Guest Priest), Rev. Fr. Michael D’Silva (Director of ICYM Ammembal Unit), Parish Vice-President Robert D’Souza, Parish Secretary Laveena Rodrigues, 21 Commissions Coordinator Jossy Tauro, ICYM President Clitus Sequeira, ICYM Secretary Nithesh Noronha and Ward Gurkars were present.

The 25th Ordination Jubilee of Fr. Nobert D’Souza was celebrated with the cutting of a cake. Prizes of Khela Sanz 2023 were distributed to the winners. A cake auction was held to raise funds for the unit.

Clitus Sequeira expressed gratitude to the gathering and Lancy Rodrigues (Animator) served as the program’s emcee. Santa Claus was the special attraction of the evening.

After the formal program, a 1 hour drama written by Felix D’Souza (Parish Member) titled ‘Konaaiki Sanganaka’, was performed by parishioners, entertaining the audience.

The program concluded with a lively baila.

Christmas Crib :

ICYM Ammembal Unit along with St Thomas Sports Club unitedly worked hard day and night and built a beautiful Crib in the church premises by the guidance of Fr Micheal Dsilva, Director of the Unit. The final creation stands as a symbol of the time and energy invested by the youth.
