March 13 : St Joseph Vaz Church Mudipu celebrated “Community Day" on 27th February 2022. Fr Santhosh Rodrigues, Director of Pastoral Institutes, Bajjodi Mangalore Diocese celebrated Holy eucharistic mass. The program was followed by the mass celebration.

A group of people including children, youth, different committee heads, ward gurkars, parish pastoral committee symbolically inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp.

During the program 3 of the parish winners Baby Sejal Dsouza, Sejal Dsouza and Princia Dsouza were honored for their achievements in different competitions organized at Deanery and Diocese levels.

Rev Fr Santhosh Rodrigues was the Chief Guest of the program. Rev Fr Assisi Rebello - Parish Priest, Fr Richard Dsouza - Assistant Parish Priest, Mr Naveen Dsouza - Vice President of Parish Pastoral Council, Dr Irin Veigas - Secretary of Parish Pastoral Council, Mr Marcel Dsouza - Silver Jubilee Committee Convener, Mr Leo Master - Secretary, Mr Anil Roshan – All Commission Convenor were present on the dais.

ICYM members of the Mudipu unit organized different games in different categories such as Children, Youth, Male, Female, Elderly, Couple and priests & sisters. Ashwin Dsouza, President of ICYM Mudipu and all other members of ICYM were present on the day. Ms Philomena Fernandes and Ms Veekshitha Dsouza compered the program.
