Oct 7 : ICYM Mudipu unit organised YUVA EKVOT 2023 event for all youth of the parish on 24th September 2023 at St Joseph Vaz shrine hall, Mudipu.

Programme commenced with a Prayer dance by YCS members . Mr Ashwin welcomed the gathering. Fr Assisi Rebello Parish priest, ICYM central council President Mithesh D’souza, Parish secretary Santhosh Deepak D’souza, ICYM Mudipu animator Melvin D’almeda, Sister Philomena superior of Holy family Nazareth, ICYM President Ashwin D’souza and ICYM Secretary Robin were present for the program.

Inauguration of the program began by lighting candles, then Fr Assisi Rebello gave a speech on motivating the role of youth in church, then followed speech of Mithesh D’souza who encouraged the youth to come forward. Inauguration Program ended with vote of thanks by Ms Melisha followed by Holy Eucharistic mass at St Joseph Vaz shrine Mudipu by Fr Assisi Rebello.

Morning session was held by Mr Jaison Mogarnad with an Ice breaking session and various games and fun activities conducted where all youth were involved in activities. Then in the second part of the morning session conducted by Resource person Sister Severene Menezes , who gave a talk on the importance of Physical and psychological activity which was an interesting section to improve on oneself and ended the session with action dance.

After lunch, Fun activities, games and action dance conducted by Mudipu ICYM executive members. Then another session began by Resource Mr Norbert Misquith who gave a talk on nine things which one has to achieve in life to live a wonderful life, then ended the session with games and fun activities.

The programme came to end with a valedictory program with Ms Denila welcoming the gathering. ICYM Central council auditor Jaison D’souza ,Fr Santhosh Menezas, Naveen parish vice president and Diona and Johnson Deanery committee members were present. This was followed by prize distribution for Photo competition conducted by ICYM and group prizes. The programme ended with a vote of thanks by ICYM Secretary Robin. Whole program was conducted as emcee by Ms Veekshita.

All together 82 youths from the parish actively participated and enjoyed the program.
