Jan 31 : The Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) Mogarnad unit and St John Paul II Deanery in collaboration with Red Cross Mangalore along with the Red Cross Society, Lady Goschen Hospital Mangalore, organised a blood donation camp at St Antony Higher Primary School hall, Amtoor on Wednesday, 26th January 2022.

Rev. Fr. Dr Mark Castelino, parish priest of Mother of God Church Mogarnad, Dr. Samskritha, incharge of Red Drop Society, Mr. Salvodar Lobo, secretary of Mother of Church, Sr. Lucy Gretta, teaching staff's of St.Antony School, Ms. Fevisha Monteiro, ICYM Mogarnad deanery representative, and Mr. Melroy, President of ICYM Mogarnad unit, all lit the lamp to officially open the camp.

Rev. Fr. Dr. Mark Castelino spoke to the crowd about the importance of blood donation and encouraged the youth and youngsters to do so.

In total, 40 volunteers donated blood, which was collected under the auspices of the ICYM Mangalore Diocese's Indian Red Cross Society blood bank.
