June 27, 2023 : The youth members of the ICYM Surathkal Unit embarked on a memorable trip to Snow world and GRS Fantasy Park, Mysore.

The Trip commenced on the evening of June 23rd, as the group gathered at Surathkal Church, Rev Fr Richard D'Souza led a heartfelt prayer and blessed them all for their safe journey. Amidst the excitement, the ICYM crew also celebrated the 50th birthday of Assistant Director of ICYM Surathkal Rev Fr. Richard D'Souza. As the clock struck midnight, a cake was cut to mark this special milestone.

On the morning of June 24th, the ICYM group reached the Pushpa Ashram Infant Jesus Shrine. With hearts filled with devotion, they actively participated in the Holy Eucharist Mass.

After breakfast, the journey continued with a visit to the famous St. Philomena Church followed by a visit to the Lok Ranjan Aqua World, immersing themselves in the beauty of aquatic life. The excitement escalated with visits to Snow World and GRS Fantasy Park, where the ICYM crew indulged in thrilling rides and adventurous activities, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

As the day drew to a close, the ICYM members packed their bags and embarked on their return journey. Early morning on June 25th, the ICYM members arrived back in Surathkal, their hearts filled with a sense of fulfilment and unforgettable experiences. The trip had provided an opportunity for the youth to connect, create lasting memories, and strengthen their bonds.
