Sep 23 : On 28 July 2024, members of the ICYM Gantalkatte Unit, in collaboration with the Catholic Sabha Mangalore Pradesh (R.) Gantalkatte Unit, undertook a visit to Mount Rosary old age Home in Alangar and Suraksha Ashram in Karkala.

The visit commenced at approximately 1:30 PM. Upon arrival, the Superior sister of Mount Rosary Old age Home and Founder and caretaker of Suraksha Ashram extended a warm welcome to the visiting members and provided a comprehensive briefing on the operations and mission of their respective centers.

In addition to the interactive session, the ICYM and Catholic Sabha members made a significant contribution to the ashrams. They donated essential supplies including rice, vegetables, grains, and daily toiletries, thereby supporting the centers in their ongoing efforts to provide for the residents. Members of ICYM and Catholic Sabha also distributed the cake and softdrinks to the people of Ashram.

This visit highlighted the commitment of both the ICYM Gantalkatte Unit and the Catholic Sabha Mangalore Pradesh (R.) Gantalkatte Unit to community service and support for local charitable institutions.
