Sep 10 : On the occasion of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) Hospet Unit organized ‘Monthi Festha Khel’ for the parishioners, on 8th September 2022 at 2.30 PM in Holy Cross Church Ground, Hospet.

Rev Fr Gregory D’Souza - Parish Priest, Manohar Cutinha - Vice President & Vincent Santhmayor - Secretary of Parish Pastoral Council Hospet, Selwin Jude Colaco, Denis Fernandes, Leena Tellis - Animators of ICYM Unit, Melisha Mendoca - President of ICYM Hospet, Perlin Tellis - Secretary of ICYM Hospet were present at this event.

Winston Joel Sequeira welcomed the gathering and compered the whole program.

ICYM members conducted various games such as tug of war, musical chair, bomb in the city and some individual fun games.

At the end, Parish Priest Rev Fr Gregory D'Souza distributed the prizes to the winners. Glany Colaco compered the prize distribution ceremony and proposed a vote of thanks. The event was a grand success with active participation from parishioners and ICYM members.

As a preparation for Nativity of Mother Mary, ICYM unit members decorated Mother Mary grotto with flowers on 7th September 2022 at 5.00 PM.
