Oct 9 : The ICYM Moodbidri Unit, in collaboration with the ICYM Moodbidri Deanery, organized an Interparish "Badminton Tournament" on October 6, 2024, at Arhath Sports Academy, Moodbidri.
The event commenced with a prayer service led by members of the ICYM Moodbidri Unit. The inauguration ceremony was presided over by V. Rev. Fr. Onil D’Souza, with the presence of Mr. Reevan Sequiera - Owner of Star Riders, Mr. Vikas - the tournament referee, Mr. Kevin D’Souza - Animator of ICYM Moodbidri Unit, Ms. Ishal Rebello - Secretary of ICYM Moodbidri Unit, Mr. Javin D’Souza - President of ICYM Moodbidri Deanery, and Ms. Glany Vinita Colaco - Secretary of ICYM Moodbidri Deanery.

Mr. Winston Joel Sequiera, president of ICYM Central Council - Mangalore, and Rev. Fr. Noel Mascarenhas, Parish Priest of Saverapura also attended the event.
Approximately 60 teams participated in the tournament. Ms. Avita D’Souza, the ICYM Moodbidri Deanery Sports Secretary, extended her heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the event, including the participants, supporters, organizers, and sponsors.
