Aug 1 : Indian Catholic Youth Movement Shirthady Unit organized ‘YUVA MILAN’, on Sunday 31 July 2022, at Holy Angels School Hall.

The Program was inaugurated by lighting the lamp. Arrel Pinto, President Shirthady unit welcomed the gathering. Jaison Crasta, Immediate past president ICYM Mangalore diocese and Veena Vaz, ICYM Mangalore past served secretary were the resource persons of the day. Presidential speech was given by Fr Herold Mascarenhas, Parish Priest.

In his presidential speech Fr Herold appreciated the hard work of youth in organizing the event. He also made a note of the involvement of youth in the parish activities.

Resource person Jaison Crasta and Venna Vaz spoke about the need of ICYM organization at various levels and highlighted the youth and their services in the society. They also discussed the benefits gained by youths by involving themselves in various activities to showcase their talents and leadership through ICYM. They also conducted several group activities, games, Icebreakers and entertained the youths.

Parish Priest Herold Mascarenes along with Fr Nelson Pinto, Parish VP Herald D’silva, Secretary Jacinth Rodrigues, ICYM Mangalore Diocese VP Winston Sequiera, Moodbidri deanery President Mithesh D’Souza, Deanery Lady VP Rolita, Deanery Secretary Joyston, ICYM Shirthady Unit Animator Chinthan Lobo were present for the programme.

The program concluded with lunch and a total 50 youths of the parish took active part in the program.
