Aug 18 : ICYM Shirthady unit organized inter ward “Ujya Vine Randap”- Cooking without fire competition for the parishioners on Sunday, 14th August 2022 at 3:00 pm in Holy Angels Hall.

Former Karnataka Regional ICYM President Jason Pereira, Shirthady welcomed the gathering and the programme commenced with a prayer.

The programme was organized with the intention to unite the parishioners. A total of 9 teams took part in the competition. The participants exhibited their culinary skills and prepared nutritious and healthy food using fruits, vegetables and presented in a creative manner.

Mr. Melroy Serra Hospet, Arun Dsouza Moodabidri and Vinitha Dsouza Alangar were the judges for the competition.

The gathering were surprised to see the Creativity of the participants. Judges appreciated the efforts taken by the wards and the awards were given to the winners. The first place was bagged by St. Sebastian ward (Flavia Miranda, Savitha Peris, Preethi Peris, Primal Miranda), Second place was also bagged by St. Sebastian ward (Vincent Menezes , Clara and Samson Miranda) while 3rd Place was bagged by St Therese Ward (Jacintha, Bijji, Irin and Melvin).

Diocese Secretary Dr Nishal Preemal D’souza, Diocese VP Winston Sequiera, Deanery President Mithesh D’souza, Regional Representative Viola, ICYM Shirthady Unit Animator Chinthan Lobo, President Arrel Mark Pinto, Secretary Nikitha Martis and other Executive members of ICYM were present for the programme.
