Nov 2 : Indian Catholic Youth Moment Vamanjoor unit organized “Yuva Parzal 2021” to all the youths of the parish on 17th October 2021 at St Joseph Workers church Hall.

The programme began with prayer service. Amcho Yuvak / Media representative Roshan Dsouza welcomed the chief guest and the gathering.

The programme was symbolically inaugurated by Chief guest Rev Fr. Ashwin Cardoza , Director of ICYM Mangalore Diocese along with Parish priest Fr James Dsouza, YCS Animator Sr Ancilla, Central council Mangalore Diocese Lady vice president Sapna Gonsalves, Unit President Arith Pinto, Secretary Savitha Saldanha and YCS President Sohan.

Fr. Ashwin Cardoza gave a very motivational speech on this occasion about the role of youth in the family and wished a better future for the youths.

Lanvin Lobo Urwa was the resource person of the programme. He took a session on “ Youth in Family” and he explained by conducting some activities how youth should be involved with Family.

The second session was conducted with fun games, activities by ICYM Central council Mangalore Diocesan President Jaison Crasta, Vice President Terrence Crasta, Treasurer Anil Sequeira, Red-drop Rep Joel Crasta and Nominated member Prajwal Rosario.

Assistant parish priest Fr Santhosh Dsouza distributed the prizes to  all the teams who won and participated in the activities. President of ICYM City deanery Melston Noronha was also present for the programme. 

Unit Secretary Savitha Saldanha proposed a vote of thanks. Avineel Lasrado and Rohan Dsouza hosted the programme. Altogether 70 youths from the parish actively participated and enjoyed the  programme.
