In spite of repeated request by the localities to the Councillor of the area/ward to clean the road which was covered by the mud flown along with the drainage water due to lack of drainage facility to the road, he failed to clean and repair the road and drainage. Due to mud on the road the pedestrians as well as vehicle drivers had to face the danger of skid and accidents. Knowing the seriousness of the fact, the ICYM Unit of Maril Church took the initiative to clean and repair the drainage and road. It took some 3 hours from 6pm to 9pm on 08-10-2014 for 10 members of ICYM and other neighbours. Hats off to Maril Youngsters. The local people have highly appreciated the work.
