Aug 15 : ICYM Central Council Annual General Body Meeting and ICYM Executive Committee Elections of Mangalore Diocese for the year 2021-22 was held on 15th August 2021. The AGM commenced with prayer song lead by ICYM Executive committee members.

Leon Loyd Saldanha Bendur – President, ICYM Mangalore Diocese welcomed the guests and the gathering. Veena Shalet Vas Shakthinagar - Diocesan General Secretary, ICYM Mangalore Diocese presented the report of past Annual General Body Meeting. The president led the meeting and informed the members about the Revision of hand book , Amcho Yuvak magzine , Roshini Counseling Services and about the report books that are available . Rev Fr Ashwin Cardoza - ICYM director addressed the gathering. ICYM General Secretary delivered the vote of thanks.

ICYM Central Council Diocesan Election was held from 11:00 am to 11.30 am under the guidance of Diocesan Chief Election Commissioner Rev. Fr. Vijay Victor Lobo, Procurator of Mangalore Diocese who briefed out the rules and regulations pertaining to election process along with the Election committee members and the election was carried out smoothly.

The much awaited election with huge expectations, provided nail biting results which was announced by the Diocesan Chief Election Commissioner Rev. Fr. Vijay Victor Lobo. The Elected members are as follows :
Jaison Lawrence Crasta Mogarnad as President, Terrence Crasta Gurpur as Vice - President, Sapna Gonsalves Neermarga as Lady Vice - President, Blairil Vishma Dcunha Cascia as General Secretary, Rakesh Rego Siddakatte as Joint Secretary, Anil John Sequira Borimar as Treasurer and Deepak D'Souza Panja as Auditor.

Director informed the gathering that the Handing over ceremony will be held on 19th August 2021 at 4.00 pm live on YouTube.

Total of more than 150 youth were present virtually. The programme concluded with ICYM Theme song.
