Fr. Ashwin Lohith Cardoza hails from Gantalkatte, Moodbidri in Mangalore District. He was born on 11th September 1986, he is the second son of Mr. Augustine Cardoza and Mrs. Lilly Cardoza.
From 2015 till date, he served the diocese at various capacities, as an assistant parish priest at St Sebastian Church, Bendur and Infant Jesus Church Bantwal. He was appointed as an Assistant Director of Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) in 2018 and a year later as the Designated director. This year he took over as the Director of ICYM, Mangalore Diocese, of which he has been effectively leading from the front.
Being in the youth ministry, he has gained lot of experience to motivate the youth as well as people. Fr Ashwin has been trained under the Salesians of Don Bosco at Vishwadeep, Bangalore where he completed a diploma in the youth ministry. He has participated in National Youth Conference held at Hyderabad.
