ICYM Bejai unit celebrated Laudato - Si on Sunday, 21st July 2019 at 10:30 am in the graveyard and in the church grounds of St Francis Xavier Church, Bejai. Rev. Fr Wilson Dsouza - Parish Priest presided and inaugurated the programme by planting the saplings along with Rev. Fr Vinod Lobo and Rev. Fr Pramod Crasta - Assistant Parish Priest, Rohan Sequeira Animator, ICYM Bejai unit. The Executive members of ICYM Episcopal City Deanery, Mangalore Sanjay Orwin Dsouza, Bendur - Vice President, Teena Pashao, Jeppu - Lady Vice President, Adveena Caroline Dsouza, Milagres - Joint Secretary, Jovita Amita Dsouza, Cascia - Amcho Yuvak Representative and Dheeraj Lobo, Bendur - Sports and Cultural Representative were present for the programme.

Rev. Fr Vinod Lobo welcomed the gathering and thanked Aaron Nazareth for providing the saplings. Seven saplings were planted in the graveyard and four saplings were planted in the church grounds. Rev. Fr Wilson Dsouza along with Rev. Fr Vinod Lobo and Rev. Fr Pramod Crasta planted the saplings, followed by the Office bearers of ICYM Bejai unit, Executive members of ICYM Episcopal City Deanery, Mangalore, Rohan Sequeira, ICYM and YCS members of Bejai unit planted the saplings. Wilma Carol Martis rendered the vote of thanks and concluded the programme.
