Jul 14 : ICYM, YCS and Youth Commission Bejai conducted Carrom and Ludo tournaments on 10 July, 2022 at 10:30am at Bejai Church Hall . It began with a prayer song followed by a welcome speech by Miss Shiny Lewis - Lady Vice president of ICYM Bejai. The Dignitaries were Rev Dr. J.B Saldanha, Parish Priest of Bejai, Mr. Ashok Pinto, Vice president of PPP, Mrs Preethi Gomes, Secretary of PPP, Mr. Rohan Sequeira, Animator of ICYM Bejai, Sr. Nisha, Animator of YCS Bejai, Shiny Lewis, Lady Vice President of ICYM and Ashley Pinto, President of YCS. They were welcomed by giving the roses.

The competition was inaugurated by Rev. Dr. JB Saldanha, Parish Priest Bejai and the event was managed by Mr. Rohan Sequiera, ICYM Animator, Mr Ashok Pinto Vice President of PPP and Mrs.Preethi Gomes, Secretary of PPP.

The Competition was held with fair rules under the guidance of referees and volunteers of YCS and ICYM Members of the Bejai Unit. The games led to the Qualifiers and Finals in an energetic and focused way.

Under Carrom tournament the winners were : Mr. Leslie Gomes of Sacred Heart of Jesus ward, Sankaigudda followed by Runners up - Mr Kevin Martis of Divine Mercy Ward, Nod kadri. The Finalists were: Mr Aaron Samuel Pinto and Ms Roshal Fernandes.

Under Ludo tournament, the Winner tag was bagged by Master Ronson Antony Sequeira of St Alphonsa ward, Barebail Vyasanagar and the Runners up by Master Glatian Fernandes of Our lady of Velankanni Ward, KPT Saga. The Finalists were Ms Delisha and Ms Michelle Monteiro.

The Vote of Thanks was given by Mr Ashely Pinto. By this the tournament came to an end at 4.30pm by awarding the Winners and Runners up.
