Oct 12 : On the occasion of the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, St. Sebastian Church, Bendur observed Rosary day on Wednesday, 7th October 2020, which was organized by CAL Bendur.

The programme began at 5.30p.m., with the celebration of the Holy Eucharist. The mass was celebrated by V. Rev Fr. Vincent Monteiro - CAL director. Following the mass, the people moved in procession with lit candles to the Grotto of Mother Mary.

The Rosary began with a Hymn to Mother Mary, following which, Fr Nelson Peres gave the significance of the feast.

The Rosary was then recited by the CAL and YCS members of the parish. It was led by Lerissa Dcunha, the CAL liturgical secretary and Lynal Lewis- CAL president.

Fr Ashwin Crasta, Assistant director of CAL proclaimed the word of God. In his reflection, he narrated a few real life incidents where Mother Mary’s intercession has miraculously given a new lease of life to many people.

The Rosary ended with a Hymn.

Social distancing and all COVID norms were followed.
