ICYM Urwa unit celebrated Laudato Si on Saturday, 27th July 2019 along with the students of St. Aloysius Kannada Medium School, Urwa.

The programme commenced with a prayer song led by the students of St. Aloysius Kannada Medium School. Mrs. Florine Pereira – Headmistress, St. Aloysius Kannada Medium School, Urwa welcomed the gathering. Rev. Fr Stany Pereira - Parish Priest, Immaculate Conception Church, Urwa presided over the programme and addressed the students on the importance of tree and plants with an interactive session. The students sang a song on the importance of protecting the nature. One of the teachers thanked all for organising the programme.

After the formal programme parish clergy, ICYM members, school staffs, class representatives planted the saplings. At the end, ICYM members conducted various innovative games to the students in class wise and prizes were distributed to the winners. Ms. Reeshal compered the programme.
