Feb 17 : ICYM Episcopal City Deanery organized Yuva Thalentan - 2020 on 16th February 2020 at Cascia Church Hall from 4:00PM onwards. Program began with Prayer song led by Deanery youths.

Mr. Melwyn and Mrs. Anitha Cutinho were the chief guests for the program and Rev. Fr. Ronald D’Souza – Director ICYM Central Council Mangalore Diocese, Rev. Fr. Harold Mascarenhas – Parish Priest St. Rita Church Cascia, Rev. Fr. Anil Pinto – Director ICYM Episcopal City Deanery, Leon Saldanha – President ICYM Central Council Mangalore Diocese, Veena Vas – General Secretary ICYM Central Council Mangalore Diocese, Minol Braggs – PRO ICYM Central Council Mangalore Diocese and ECD Representative, Delitia Pereira – President ICYM Episcopal City Deanery, Sonali Rodrigues – Secretary ICYM Episcopal City Deanery, Teena Pashao – Convener Yuva Thalentan - 2020, Glen Tauro – President ICYM Cascia Unit, Jane – Vice President Parish Council Cascia were present on the dais.

ICYM ECD President - Delitia Pereira welcomed the guests and the gathering. Program was inaugurated in a unique way by the Dignitaries on the dais. Rev. Fr. Ronald D’Souza and Rev. Fr. Harold Mascarenhas in their message congratulated and wished good luck to all the youths.

Immediate Past President ICYM ECD – Viola D’Silva introduced the judges to everyone present. Rynal Sequeira, Jonita Rasquinha, Snehith Lobo were the judges for the competition.

Units of ICYM Episcopal City Deanery actively participated in the competition. Leon Saldanha and Minol Braggs, Delitia Pereira and Snehith Lobo entertained the audience with a song and a dance. As a token of gratitude, mementos were given to the judges and chief guests by Rev. Fr. Anil Pinto - ICYM ECD Director.

Valedictory program commenced at 6:00PM. Mr. Melwyn and Mrs. Anitha Cutinho – chief guests of the program, Rev. Fr. Harold Mascarenhas – Parish Priest St Rita Church Cascia, Rev. Fr. Kenneth Crasta, Rev. Fr. Anil Pinto – ICYM ECD Director, Delitia Pereira – ICYM ECD President, Teena Pashao – Convener Yuva Thalentan 2020 were present on the dais.

Rev. Fr. Anil Pinto in his message congratulated everyone for their active participation and thanked everyone for their support in making all events successful. Prizes were distributed to the winner and runners up by Rev. Fr. Harold Mascarenhas. Teena Pashao – Convener Yuva Thalentan - 2020 rendered the vote of thanks. Sanjay D’Souza – Vice President ICYM ECD compered the formal program. Sonali Rodrigues – Secretary ICYM ECD compered the valedictory program.

Winner & runners up were announced by Dheeraj Lobo – Sports Secretary ICYM ECD. ICYM Bejai Unit bagged the winner’s trophy and ICYM Valencia Unit bagged the runners up trophy of Yuva Thalentan – 2020. Program concluded with ICYM Theme song.
