Oct 9 : The ICYM Agrar Unit successfully organized the Do Re Mi Fa - 2024 singing competition, exclusively for Agrar parishioners. The competition began with a video contest, through which participants were shortlisted for the final round. The grand finale took place on October 6, 2024, at 3 PM in the Agrar Church Mini Hall. The event commenced with a prayer song, followed by a warm welcome from ICYM President Deltan Lobo, while Sweedle Rodrigues and Sharal Rodrigues efficiently conducted the event as the MC. Esteemed judges Shilpa Cutinha and Stephen Cutinha evaluated the performances.

After the competition, a valedictory ceremony was held, graced by Parish Council Vice President Arun Dsouza, Sr. Ida Dsouza, ICYM Agrar Animator Philip Frank, President Deltan Lobo and the judges. Nicole Moras gave an introduction about the judges and they were honored by the dignitaries. Shilpa Cutinha then offered valuable insights and advice to the participants. Certificates of participation were presented, and prizes were awarded to the winners and runners-up in each category. Additionally, a special prize was given for the most-viewed video from the initial contest.

The event showcased local talent and strengthened the parish community.
