ICYM Bambil unit celebrated “Laudato – Si Sunday” under the theme "Vanamahostava 2019” on Sunday, 14th June 2019 at St John Marie Vianney Church, Bambil.
Santhosh Veigas - President, ICYM Bambil unit welcomed the guests and the gathering. Rev. Fr Peter Gonsalves - Parish Priest, St. John Marie Vianney Church, Bambil presided and inaugurated the programme by planting the saplings along with Mrs. Flavy Dsouza - Vice President and Mr. Jokim Souza - Secretary, Bambil parish pastoral council, ward leaders, President, Secretary - ICYM Bambil unit and all the youths gathered along with the parishioners.

Rev. Fr Peter Gonsalves in his message stressed on the need to grow plants in today's scenario and steps to protect the Mother Earth. He appreciated the youths for organizing the programme in a meaningful manner. Alwin Veigas compered the programme. A total of 20 youths participated in the whole day shramadhan programme by planting 200 plus saplings in the vicinity of the church compound, which was provided by the Diocese of Mangalore as a Laudato Si Campaign.
