Jul 27 : ICYM Bambil Unit in association with Catholic Sabha Bambil unit organised 'Laudato si' Vanamahotsava and Agricultural Information Programme on 24 July 2022 for the parishioners. Programme started with planting a sapling in the premises of the church. Parish Priest Rev. Fr Naveen Prakash Dsouza, Resource person Mr Joe Pradeep Dsouza, Br Avith, Parish Pastoral Parishad vice-president Shanthi Pinto, Presidents and Members of ICYM as well as Catholic Sabha and parishioners were present for the programme.

Fr Naveen Prakash D'souza addressed the gathering and explained the importance of saving our mother nature. Thereafter in the Vianney hall, resource person Mr Joe Pradeep D'souza, assistant director of horticulture department, Bantwal, gave brief information about the soil and water conservation, ground water recharge, selection of agriculture field, management of agricultural waste and household waste, usage of organic and chemical fertilizers, various government schemes available to farmers and procedure to get large yield in the agriculture.

Jeslin Dsouza anchored the programme. At the end ICYM members distributed saplings to the parishioners.
