Nov 22 : Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) Bambil Unit Celebrated Teachers' day and Children's day in association with Yuva Ayog on 17th November 2024, right after the mass.

Roshan Sequeira welcomed the guests and expertly compered the ceremony. The presence of esteemed guests added special significance to the celebration. The programme began with a prayer song, followed by lighting of lamp by the dignitaries. The program commenced with warm welcome by Ms. Roshni Sequeira, President of ICYM Bambil Unit, while the dignitaries on the stage included:- Rev.Fr. Antony Lewis the Director & Parish priest of Bambil along with Ms. Veena Gonsalves Vice lady President of Parish council and Rupeena Miranda Secretary of Parish council, Commission coordinator Mr. Wilson Crasta, Chief guest Ms. Jeshma Frank, Bantwal Deanery Lady Vice President Preemal Cutinha, ICYM president Roshni Sequeira, Secretary Prinson Miranda were the guest on the dais.

Resource person Ms. Jeshma Frank delivered a speech on the importance of children in today's society & what is their role in school. Sonal Lopes addressed the names of Teachers & they are offered with a token of appreciation gift. Secretary Prinson Miranda proposed the vote of thanks marking the end of the formal stage programme.

The programme continued with fun filled activities both for teachers and children's group games were conducted for the children and individual games for teachers. Anna Maria Pinto hosted the activities. 4 groups were made  for a variety of activities, action songs and entertainment. The children & Teachers expressed immense participation throughout the activities.

The event concluded with the distribution of prizes to the winners, recognizing their efforts and adding to the celebrations. Rev. Fr. Antony Lewis congratulated the winners and appreciated the ICYM members for their efforts in making the event memorable. The programme ended by having lunch.
