Dec 18 : ICYM Bantwal hosted the Christmas Cup at Bantwal church ground on 17 December 2023, following the 9:15 mass. Fr. Melwin , Headmaster of Infant Jesus English Medium School inaugurated the event with the presence of Nihan Sequiera , President of ICYM Bantwal Deanery. Ashwin served as the master of ceremony and Mr. Sunil Lewis , ICYM Coordinator explained the rules for the 13 teams participating in tug of war and cricket. 

Guardian Angel ward secured the first prize in tug of war, with St. Antony ward claiming the second prize.

The cricket competition saw Lourdes ward winning the first prize, and Holy Cross ward securing the second prize. Awards were presented to outstanding individuals, with Joylin from Holy Cross ward named Best Woman in cricket, Joel from Lourdes ward honored as the Best Man, and Laren from Holy Cross ward earning the title of Best All-Rounder.

The festivities concluded with a stage program featuring dignitaries such as Fr. Valerian D'souza (Parish priest), Fr. Rahul D'souza (Assistant Parish priest), Fr. Melwin (Headmaster of Infant Jesus English Medium School), Mr. Sunil Veigas (Vice President of Infant Jesus Church), and Mr. Manohar Dcosta (Secretary of Infant Jesus Church). The prizes were then distributed to the winning teams, marking the end of the joyful event.
