July 10 : ICYM Loretto unit in collaboration with Pastoral Council Health Commission, Catholic Sabha, Father Muller's Hospital Kankanady and Red drop, organized Blood donation camp on July 9, 2023 at Loretto Matha Sabha Bhavan.

The program commenced at 9.00 am with prayer led by ICYM Loretto unit. The program was inaugurated by lighting the lamp. The dignitaries Rev. Fr Francis Crasta Parish Priest of Loretto Church presided over the event along with Rev. Fr Jason Monis Loretto English Medium School Principal, Mr Cyprian Dsouza Vice President of Pastoral Council , Mrs Shaila Barboza Secretary of Pastoral Council , Mr Prakash Vas Pastoral Council co-ordinator of all commissions , Mr Praveen Pinto President of health commission ,Mr Isaac Vas President of Catholic Sabha, Vinod Menezes President of ICYM , Dr Theertha Father Muller's Hospital Mangalore and ICYM central council Red drop representative Brendon Cutinha.

Mr.Praveen Pinto,President of the Health commission welcomed all the guests. Dr Theertha shared her thoughts on the significance of organizing blood donation camps. Rev. Fr Francis Crasta addressed the gathering on the importance of blood donation and saving lives.

ICYM Central Council Red drop Rep. Brendon Cutinha spoke on the basic requirements and eligibility to be considered as blood donors. Mrs Philomena Rodrigues, Catholic Sabha Secretary delivered vote of thanks. Jenita Lasrado compered the stage program. The breakfast was served to everyone who attended the camp. The program concluded at 1.00 pm in the afternoon. Around 65+ donors donated the blood whilst participating in a life saving mission.
