Jan 9 : The Christmas Celebration 2024, organized by ICYM Loretto, took place after the holy Mass at the Lady of Loretto Church. The event began with an enthusiastic welcome by the Masters of Ceremony, Nihan and Rinie, who kept the audience engaged throughout the program. One of the highlights of the celebration was the grand entry of Santa Claus, bringing joy and excitement to the gathering, accompanied by a lively and energetic dance performance by ICYM members that set the festive mood. Adding to the fun, a thrilling Housie Housie game was conducted by the ICYM members in collaboration with the parish priest, ensuring active participation and enjoyment for all attendees.

As part of the celebration, special gifts were presented to the ICYM members for their efforts in singing carols at every house in the parish, spreading Christmas joy among families. Additionally, gifts were given to the members who contributed to creating the beautiful and artistic Christmas crib, as well as a special token of appreciation for the individual who portrayed Santa Claus, representing the true spirit of Christmas during the evening festivities.
The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Preemal Menezes, the Secretary of ICYM Loretto, who expressed gratitude to everyone involved in making the event a success. Following the formal proceedings, ICYM members gathered for a cozy get-together where they enjoyed a Secret Santa game, exchanging thoughtful gifts and spreading festive cheer. The celebration came to a close with a delicious dinner, leaving everyone with cherished memories of the joyous occasion.
