Dec 3 : ICYM unit of St Thomas the Apostle Church Nirkan organized ‘Christmas – Kheladwari Ekwat 2023’ an Inter-ward and individual games for the parishioners, on 19th November and on 3rdDecember 2023 at St Thomas Higher Primary School Ground, Nirkan-Vogga.

The Inaugural programme began at 9.15 am. ICYM Vice President – Henvil Valder welcomed the gathering. Rev Fr Leo William Lobo – Parish Priest of Nirkan Church & Director of ICYM Nirkan Unit presided over the programme along with Mr Vincent Bennis – Vice President & Mrs Shanthi Veigas - Secretary of Parish Pastoral Council, Brother Jeevan Lobo, Ms Sweedal Rodrigues – President of ICYM Nirkan were the dignitaries. During the Inaugural programme, Rev Fr Leo William Lobo addressed the gathering. Henvil Valder compered the program.

In the morning, the event began with individual and group games such as shot put and Head – Shoulder – Knees – Cup for men and Hitting the pot & Eating Biscuit game for women, followed by tug of war and dodge ball. At the end, a Balloon Race for couples was also conducted.

In the evening, a Slow Bike race was conducted for 18 years above men and women.

On 3rd of December morning, Dice Game, Paper Ball Pick and Fill Race, Cup and Straw Race, Paper Ball on Head Race were conducted for children of Nirkan Parish.

It was an amazing time where all the parishioners got together to spend time with each other.
