April 3 , 2023 : On the occasion of Lenten season, Indian Catholic Youth Movement Omzoor unit organized ‘Taize prayer’ for the parishioners of Holy Family Church, Omzoor on 31st March at 5.15 pm.

Taize prayer was led by Fr Alwyn Dcunha, parish priest, Dexter Saldanha, Froidy Saldanha along with the ICYM members. Taize prayer which is centered around the Holy Cross involves recital of hymns, special prayers on individuals, groups, meditation and liturgical readings.

Taize prayer was a unique way to praise and worship God and it was a wonderful experience for the parishioners and also to the youth of the Omzoor.

The members of lCYM along with the ICYM Animator Elroy Saldanha decorated the altar of the Holy Cross beautifully with lighted lamps. This prayerful session amidst the lit lamps gave a wonderful and divine experience to all with Jesus. Around 250 people participated in the prayer.
