March 7 : Indian Catholic Youth Movement Belthangady Deanery and Ujire unit along with Red Drop Mangalore and Reed Cross Blood Bank Mangalore organised Blood donation camp at St. Antony Church , Ujire on Sunday, 6th March 2022.

Parish priest and Director of ICYM Ujire unit Rev Fr. James Dsouza , Vice President of parish pastoral council Antony Fernandes, Secretary of PPC Nithin Monis, Red drop district coordinator Praveen Kumar, ICYM Diocesan treasurer and deanery representative Anil sequeira, ICYM Belthangady deanery President Ronson Veigas and Secretary Rose Priya Pinto, ICYM Ujire unit President Praveen Pinto and Secretary Stephy Moras were present on the dais.

Dignitaries on the dias inaugurated the blood donation camp by lighting the lamp. President of the programme Fr. James delivered his presidential speech. ICYM Belthangady deanery Director Rev Fr. Steevan Coutinho and ICYM Ujire unit Animator Praveen Fernandes were present. 

Praveen Pinto welcomed the gathering. Stephy Moras rendered vote of thanks. Vinitha Crasta anchored the inaugural function.

Around 60 donors donated blood and this programme was successful. Nearly 20 ICYM volunteers along with committee members were present.
