Dec 28 : ICYM Belthangady deanery council along with venur unit celebrated Christmas at Perady, Venur on 25th December 2022. Holy Redeemer school Belthangady  principal  Fr. Clifford Pinto, Venur unit director Fr. Peter Aranha, Belthangady deanery director Fr. Praveen Dsouza, Belthangady parish Deacon Br. Preetham Rego, Perady ward gurkar Anand Dsouza, Deanery representative Winston Dsouza, Venur unit Animators Arun Dsouza and Sr. Anitha, Venur unit president Shawn Serrao, Belthangady deanery president Prakash Dsouza and Secretary Stephy Moras were present on the dais .

Venur unit president Shawn Serrao welcomed the gathering. The program was inaugurated by cutting Christmas cake by the dignitaries on the dais. Chief guest Fr. Clifford Pinto addressed the gathering. Belthangady Deanery Director Fr. Praveen Dsouza spoke a few words about the program and wished good luck for the success of the program. Fr. Peter Aranha delivered his presidential speech. Belthangady deanery secretary Stephy Moras rendered vote of thanks.

Belthangady deanery council sang Carol hymns, Venur unit conducted cultural program and Belthangady deanery sports secretary Elvin Dchuna conducted some activities. Even Perady ward children gave some cultural programs. Winston Dsouza distributed prizes to the winners. At the end Fr. Peter Aranha and Fr. Praveen Dsouza distributed Christmas sweets for each and every family of Perady ward.

Nearly 30 Perady ward residents and 25 Venur and Belthangady deanery council youths were present.
