Oct 10 : Indian Catholic Youth Movement Madanthyar unit organised a vehicle blessing program on Sunday, 9th October 2022 after 6.30 am mass by seeking help of Patron saint of vehicles St. Christopher.

Youths helped in locating parking spots for vehicles & sticked number labels to each & every vehicle for finding the lucky vehicle.

Parish priest Fr. Basil Vas and Assistant parish priest Fr. William Dsouza conducted the prayer service. Fr Jerome Dsouza - Principal Sacred Heart PU college and Fr Deepak D'sa - Headmaster Sacred Heart English Medium School were also present for this program. The parish priest along with other priests blessed the vehicles by sprinkling holy water.

After the ceremony, ICYM members distributed sweets to the gathering. A lucky contest was also conducted and Mr Felix Rodrigues, Nithyadhar ward was awarded with 5 litres of petrol. Youths also helped in the rearrangement work. About 18 youths were present for this program.
