Jan 5 : ICYM Nainad Unit enthusiastically celebrated Christmas with parishioners on the evening of December 24, 2023, at the St Francis Assisi Church premises following the Holy Eucharistic ceremony.

The event was graced by the presence of parish priest Rev Fr Anil Avild Lobo, Parish Vice President Lancy Dsouza, Secretary Ignesius Rodrigues , Sr. Monthi Dsouza followed by a cake-cutting ceremony. Fr Anil Avild Lobo in his inaugural Speech wished everyone gathered the blessings of Christmas and highlighted the importance of Christmas. He said that Christmas brings Joy and Peace.

Various prizes for different events conducted on the occasion of Christmas were then distributed. After the formal stage programme,  cultural programme was started which involved various dances, songs , jokes , skirt performances by ICYM members and parishioners . ICYM members hosted guess and get it, ensuring a joyful atmosphere for everyone.

On December 1st, they got started with the crib work. After weeks of relentless planning, hardwork and execution of the plans by the members, a beautiful crib was finally ready on Christmas Eve.
