Sep 23 : ICYM Miyapadavu Unit celebrated "Nove Jevan" on 15th September 2024 at 12:00pm in the St Joseph Hall of Our Lady of Fatima Church, Miyapadavu on the occasion of Monthi Feast. ICYM Unit Director Rev. Fr Edwin Vincent Corea, ICYM Kasaragod Deanery Vice-President Lanson D Souza and Lady Vice-President Ashwitha Cutinha, Holy Cross Convent Superior Sr Mary Chekuri and Sr Marylet, Parish Council Vice-President Mr Pradeep D Souza and Secretary Mrs Saritha D Souza, Coordinator of all the Commissions of the Parish Mr Charles D Souza, ICYM Unit President Rohan Monteiro and Secretary Jasmine D Souza, YCS President Anwisha Cutinha were present on the dais.

The programme commenced with a prayer song by ICYM members and a Welcome address by ICYM Liturgical Rep Shaineetha D Souza. Fr Edwin delivered a speech about the programme and Parish Council Vice-President Mr Pradeep D Souza spoke about his experience in ICYM. Thereafter Blessed 'Nove' was added to the milk by the Unit Director and it was served to all the members present there. As per our tradition everyone sat on the floor. Fr Edwin prayed for the Lord's blessings on the meal and then dishes were served by the ICYM members. All the food items were cooked and bought by the ICYM members. Everyone enjoyed this moment of togetherness.
Vote of Thanks was delivered by Pranvith D Souza, ICYM Joint Secretary. There were 35 youths present in this programme. The Unit Cultural and Sports Secretary Bijoy Monteiro served as MC for this programme.
