Nov 26 : ICYM Miyapadavu conducted MPL SEASON 1 (Miyapadavu Premier League) for the parishioners on 3rd November 2024 . The event commenced at 10.30 am with prayer ,followed by the inauguration. Fr Edwin Vincent Corea addressed the gathering. Fr Edwin and Sr Mary Chakori inaugrated the Tournament by batting and bowling on the games field.

There were 6 teams
1)Miyapadavu Chargers
2)MK Cricketers Miyapadavu
3)United Brothers
4)ABL Stickers Miyapadavu
5)Bulla Bulls
6)R Kings

All the 6 teams actively participated in the cricket tournament. Breakfast , Lunch, and tea were arranged for all the players and audience.

MK CRICKETERS MIYAPADAVU, the winners of MPL SEASON 1 won the trophy and a cash prize of Rs.8000 and the runners up ABL STICKERS .
MIYAPADAVU won the trophy and a cash prize of Rs.4000. The event was a grand success with active participation of all teams. ICYM would love to thank all the well wishers. Overall, everything went on very well & it was indeed a great experience for all. Unit sports rep Bijoy took the responsibility of MPL-01.
