July 30 : ICYM Narampady Unit Members visited an old age home which is also a psych rehabilitation centre to celebrate Grandparents' Day on 28th July Sunday afternoon. Unit members along with the Parish Priest Fr Anil Francis Pinto and Avila Convent Superior Sister Prescilla Dsouza as well as along with Sr Juliana Dsouza visited the old age home.
The 28 member group of the unit delivered the rehab with financial aid ,as well as the essential things that can be used for their daily routine and also provided them with groceries. Brother Yeshu Jose who is the main backbone of the rehab explained the various traumatic incidents that has led to the vast number of patients over to rehab while the age of patients range from 19year old to 95 year old ones.

Then the unit members were taken inside to meet the inmates.They were about 198 patients and the ICYM members interacted well and tried to talk and understand their feelings. Members also hosted a small program to entertain the inmates and many of the inmates joined and had a blast. Truly it was heart touching to witness the happiness they felt .
The program ended with a thank you note by President Prewel Sandra Dsouza . The members were provided with refreshments from the staff of rehab.
