Aug 30 : ICYM Narampady Unit Conducted Moriyal Geetha Spardo and Fancy Dress competition for the Children in the Parish from LKG to YCS. The Event took place on Sunday , 18th August at 2:30 PM . All the Children arrived on time along with Parents as well as many Parishioners were present as spectators. The program started with Prayer Song and was hosted by Mayola Dsouza . This was followed by a Welcome Speech by Unit President who welcomed the Parish Priest Fr Anil Francis Pinto and the esteemed judges Sr Reena from Kayyar who is a musician and Mr Raju from Ukkindka who is the EX-Catholic Sabha President Of Kasaragod Deanery .

The event started with a singing competition where the kids were divided into 5 categories from LKG to YCS . Around 65 kids participated in the singing competition and it was indeed an eve of melody and delight to hear all the beautiful voices .

Then the Children and all the crowd present were provided with refreshments. After a recess of 10mins the program continued.

The Fancy Dress Competition followed after completing the Moriyal Geetha Spardo . Around 83 kids took part in the Fancy Dress Competition. The Parents and Children took too much effort to put up on the stage . The costumes were really amazing and the audience thoroughly enjoyed the spectacular performance of the kids . It was a visual and colourful treat to eyes .

Parish Priest Fr Anil conveyed how happy he was to see these many kids taking part and coming forward and presenting themselves on stage . Results were announced on the same eve and the program was concluded by vote of thanks by Secretary Melroy Wilson at 6:10 PM.
