Sep 14 : The feast of Nativity of Blessed Virgin Mary also known as the birthday of mother Mary was celebrated with utmost enthusiasm by ICYM Kinnigoli Deanery on 12 September, 2021. The executive members of all the 6 units of the Deanery including Kinnigoli, Kirem, Pakshikere, Balkunje, Niddodi and Neerude were a part of this celebration. Presence of Fr. William D'Souza - Director of ICYM Kinnigoli Deanery, Fr. Alban - Director of ICYM Neerude, Fr. Lancy - Principal of St. Mary's Central School, Kinnigoli and members of the executive committee of ICYM Mangalore diocese added on to the beauty of this celebration.

Various delicious vegetarian dishes prepared out of the new yield of the season, is something this feast is known for. The responsibility of preparing these dishes for the Nativity Lunch were equally disturbed among the units which turned out to be worthy of appreciation. It indeed exhibited the hidden culinary skills of our units. The lunch was then followed by some activities to energise the youths present for this celebration.

There's a hope that this feast is able to bring the leaders of the deanery a step closer, which will pave way for their utmost cooperation and support in the upcoming events that the deanery has to offer.
