CHRISTMAS CAROLS

The ICYM-PYC Gurpur unit actively participated in spreading the joy of Christmas by visiting all the houses in the Our Lady of Pompei Church, Gurpur - Kaikamba, for Christmas carols. Each day, around 30 to 35 enthusiastic youths came together to sing carols and share the festive spirit. Accompanied by Santa Claus, greeting cards and Kuswar were given to the families during the Christmas Carols spreading cheer and delight among all the parishioners.

CHRISTMAS NIGHT

The Christmas Night Program was organized on 24th December 2024 at 9 PM after the Eucharistic Mass in Our Lady of Pompei Church Ground. ICYM-PYC Director V. Rev. Fr. Rudolf Ravi D'sa, Rev. Fr. Victor D’Souza, Deacon Vikas Pereira, ICYM-PYC Animator and Youth Commission Secretary Mr. Godwin Tauro, Parish Pastoral Council Vice President Mr. Romans Lobo, Secretary Mr. Johnson Lobo, 21 Commissions Coordinator Mrs. Hilda Menezes, ICYM-PYC President Lester Menezes, ICYM-PYC Secretary Preema Menezes and 350 Parishioners were present on this special occasion.

Master of Ceremony Joyce Menezes & Thea Menezes commenced this program by singing a hymn. There was a series of cultural programs like Dance, Dramatic Joke given by ICYM-PYC Gurpur, YCS Gurpur on this occasion. In the meantime live auction of Christmas Cake was also conducted. Many other games were also conducted during the program. The prize distribution ceremony for the online competition "CARTOONIA" was conducted with great enthusiasm, recognizing and celebrating the creativity and talent of the young participants. The program was concluded by the entry of Santa Claus cutting the Christmas Cake with the dignitaries on the dais. Santa distributed the sweets to the kids.

CHRISTMAS CRIB

ICYM-PYC Gurpur Unit Youngsters Unitedly worked together and built a beautiful Crib in the vicinity of Our Lady of Pompei Church, Gurpur Kaikamba. ICYM-PYC Director V. Rev. Fr. Rudolf Ravi D'sa appreciated the youth for their hard work.
