Nov 2 : ICYM Kinnigoli Deanery organised an industrial visit to Leksa Lightings Private Limited on October 29th, 2022. This visit was scheduled to provide real time industrial exposure to youths and gain knowledge from the same. The visit began at 3:00 pm with a short prayer by ICYM Kinnigoli Deanery Director Rev. Fr Sunil D'Souza and lasted for about 1.5 hours. Approximately 25 youths were a part of this visit.

The Director along with President Ms. Marvel Mathias and Secretary Mr. Lester Lasrado on behalf of Kinnigoli Deanery and the present youth welcomed The founder of Leksa, Mr. Ronald Silvan D'Souza for the session. During this visit Mr. Ronald D'Souza shared with the youths his perspective of ideal entrepreneurship, his corporate journey and journey Leksa till date. The session began with an orientation about Leksa Lightings, followed by Lightings show. 'To be a successful entrepreneur it's not important to be a graduate from IIT's, IIM's or many big reputed institutions. But it's our knowledge and the ability to use that knowledge in an effective way is what makes an ideal entrepreneur', he said. He is indeed a living example of the same.

The participants took a tour to the factory where different components Lightings were being manufactured under the guidance of Mr. Ronald D'Souza. The forum was then open for Q&A where the youths were able to seek more clarification on their doubts and opinions. The session successfully came to an end with vote of thanks proposed by Secretary Mr. Lester Lasrado.
